I agree that without an antagonist or side characters there will be no understanding of what kind of person the main character is. In Fahrenheit 451 without Clarisse or Beatty we would be stuck with the same old Montag and his boring personality. His life has changed because of these people and he has changed as well. Clarisse has change his view of life while Beatty has made him more interested in finding out why books are not to be read by making him a wanted criminal for reading them.

Today I had testing from first to seventh period in the library. It felt like I was going to be there forever. After about almost seven hours I finally got out, but my day is still not over. I still have to lift weights and keep up on assignments I have missed while I was testing.

The National Basketball Association regular season has just ended about 2 days ago. The playoffs are about to start this Saturday. I am rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder because they have my favorite player Russell Westbrook. I have been watching all of their games this season, and I have never seen somebody work as hard as Russell. There are a lot of great teams, and the National Basketball Association has never had as many great teams as they have this year. Although I think it will be a challenge for Oklahoma City, I think that they can win the championship this year.

Yesterday I had my 1 minute ignite talk. I was kind of nervous because I thought that I would forget what to say. I new a good amount to talk for a minute, but I forgot when I went up to present. I did not prepare enough as I should have, but good thing this is not the full presentation.

On Saturday I had my first football practice in Santa Maria High School. It was really fun and I am happy that I get to play football again. We have lost a lot of players who played last year because they are going to graduate, but I think we will be just as good this year. My team has been working really hard in the weight room, and I feel like we can win it all this year. Wish us luck!
