Big Question UPDATE (It has been changed for a couple weeks now)

I recently changed my big question. I have changed it to "How can I become a better football player for my school." I want to be better at something I love the most which is football.

I agree that without an antagonist or side characters there will be no understanding of what kind of person the main character is. In Fahrenheit 451 without Clarisse or Beatty we would be stuck with the same old Montag and his boring personality. His life has changed because of these people and he has changed as well. Clarisse has change his view of life while Beatty has made him more interested in finding out why books are not to be read by making him a wanted criminal for reading them.

Immigrants in our own land

What is an immigrant? In the poem an immigrant is described as a peson who has left their country or bad life to live a better one. They are also described as prisoners and practically slaves. Tone? The tone for this poem is sad and depressing because the reader can feel the attitude the author has when reading the poem. Theme? The theme of the poem is “Don’t give up.” The immigrants in the poem kept surviving in jail and kept going. They took the hard way and for some of them it payed off.
