LETTER TO A MENTOR DRAFT

Dear Von Miller,

       My name is Rafael Hernandez. I am 16 years old and I go to Santa Maria High School. I am in the 11th grade and play Varsity football for my school. I have played football for about 3 years and have watched it for about 6 years. I have seen incredible players in the NFL, but you have suprised and inspired me the most. I play linebacker and to see someone that is also a  linebacker and who makes it look easy and fun, makes me excited and proud to play football. You are a mentor to me because everyday I work and play hard to become an amazing player like yourself.

         The title means that the essay is going to be about why you should stay true to yourself and that you should be should be yourself. FAHRENHEIT 451 ESSAY

      Fahrenheit 451 is a great book and there are connections between it and our lives in 2018.  This book shows us how much we can relate to the society Montag lives in, in 2018. This book can show others how valuable knowledge can be and how bad technology can affect us. The theme for this book is "How authorities attempt to control people." This is because just like in 2018 I believe that the people don't have the right to make major decisions. We are only allowed to vote for a president  to make these decisions, and even I think that he or she is being controlled by authorities. In the book the government has full control over the city with bomber planes surrounding it.
