I did not sleep last night. I slept at 2:30 a.m today, and I am tired. I was really busy yesterday doing big assignments. I am relieved that I have finished these assignments, but I still have final exams coming up next weak. I will have to study more this weekend.

Today I have to finish 2 big finals assignments. One is for my Spanish class and another is for my English class. For my Spanish class I have a big project, and for my English class I have an essay to do. It will take a while to finish both, but I think that I can get through this and manage to get a good grade.

Yesterday I watched the last game of the Western Conference Finals. The winner is to go to the NBA finals to have a shot to win the championship. Golden State Warriors won game 7 against the Houston Rockets. Many people including me wanted the Rockets to win because we all know the Warriors would beat the Cavaliers, who won the Eastern Conference Finals, because they are a powerhouse. The Warriors are said to be the best team to ever live, and for them to go against the Cavaliers, who's only good player is Lebron James is going to be upsetting. This is because the Cavaliers are very bad, and they are only in the finals because of Lebron James.

Today is memorial day, and I hope everyone is having a great day. Unfortunately there is school tomorrow so I am going to get the best of this day off before I go to school.

Today is the last day of the week that I go to school. We will be having a four day weekend and I will have to study hard for my finals next week and do my homework. I am going to try to enjoy my weekend, but I think it will be a pain to do a lot of studying. I wish that my teachers would never give homework come finals week.

I learned about how schools from America and Mexico can be different and the same. They both can have bad teachers, and many teachers really don't teach. Schools from both countries also have drama like students-teacher affairs or violence They are also completely different. American school have better technology, why Mexican schools don't. In America you can also get a free education, but in Mexico is has to be paid for. I also learned about music and how great it can be. Music can be heard at different times. It can represent different moods we have throughout the day.

My favorite masterpiece presentation I have seen today is Gabriel's magic presentation. It was really funny and he showed us great magic tricks. He looked very nervous, but that can be a good thing when you make the audience laugh like Gabriel did.

This Saturday my football team had a football passing game at Pioneer. We played against Pioneer, Righetti, Dos Pueblos, and Orcutt Academy. It was really fun and we did really well. I am comfortable with my team, and I expect us to do really good this year when football season starts.

My masterpiece was about the most powerful countries' military, and what weapons they have, how many weapons they have, and how many members they have in the military. I could not come up with a topic, so I got this topic from one of my friends. I could not include all countries, but I included the ones that come closest to being the strongest. This topic was interesting to me because it helps me know what other countries are capable of doing and what they have. These things also make a country powerful which is where I got the title "The most powerful countries".

The presentations feel like they are getting more passionate. Today there were two presentations, one about BMX and another about bullying. Both people were passionate about their topic because one loved to BMX and another spoke out about bullying. The bullying presentation was inspiring because the presenter talked about her experience of being bullied and seeing others getting bullied. She was not afraid of telling others and she was convincing others to speak up as well.

The two presentations were great yesterday. I couldn’t really hear the first one but I could understand the second one better. They were both about space. One was about planets and the other about Mars.

The first presentation included things that caught my eye. The first being that the presenter was talking in a formal way to the audience. I like when the presenter does this because it feel like we are getting to know him more. He was not so professional like a professor or teacher. I could also see how passionate he was about the topic which was music and playing guitar. The stories he told us and the hand gestures he used made it obvious he was serious and passionate abut what he was saying. He did repeat a lot of words like "You know" or "Like". He also contradicted himself throughout the presentation, but overall he did good.

My masterpiece has gone well. It will be on "Which nations are the most powerful in the world." This interests me because I want to know the top countries that have been producing and benefiting the most

Thursday is probably my least favorite day of the week next to Tuesday. I can come up with many reason on why I don't like Thursday. One reason being that it is a regular boring day for me, and every time its Thursday, all I could think of is when Friday will start. I like Saturday and Sunday because I don't have school those days. I like Monday because it is a minimum day, and I like Wednesday because I never have tests that day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are Test days for me which I hate the most. They also seem like long days to me because they are in the middle of the week.

      Fahrenheit 451 is a great book and there are connections between it and our lives in 2018.  This book shows us how much we can relate to the society Montag lives in, in 2018. This book can show others how valuable knowledge can be and how bad technology can affect us. The theme for this book is "How authorities attempt to control people." This is because just like in 2018 I believe that the people don't have the right to make major decisions. We are only allowed to vote for a president  to make these decisions, and even I think that he or she is being controlled by authorities. In the book the government has full control over the city with bomber planes surrounding it. With technology in the book people have been brainwashed  to use it everyday instead of interacting with others.        Montag is a Dynamic character because he changes from being a depressed man who doesn't think of his happiness to being a man who is willing to change his life and take risks. Th

The action and drama in Fahrenheit is great and original. This makes me like the story, but as I read I noticed that the narrator would describe every little detail even when an amazing scene is going to happen. This annoyed me a lot throughout the book and got me thinking that this kind of syntax is not to my taste.

Today I feel better than I have since last year. I think this is because I had more time to sleep. Everyday I have been getting about 8 hours of sleep, but last night I got more. I only got about 35 more minutes of sleep, but I feel way better than I did when I get only 8 hours.
